Our next event is on the 19th January 2009 and is a lecture on history and collecting by Jim Cuthbert. Jim will bring a variety of magic related items for us to look at. His specialist topic is Scottish Magicians and Scottish Magic clubs and he has published a book called “What has Scotland done for Magic?”
Dundee Society of Magicians 70th Anniversary Dinner will be held on the 5th February 2009 at the Logie Club, Liff Road, Dundee. The show starts at 7pm with tickets at £20. The evening is compered by Tommy Templeton with UK Comedy Award Winner John Archer. Contact Albert Lawson for details.
The Scottish Conjurers Association are pleased to announce our day of magic on
Saturday April 18th 2009. Topping the bill will be Mel Mellors. With another
star lecturer plus dealers it will be a busy day.
There will also be a dinner with cabaret show again featuring Mel Mellors
supported by other acts.
Prices for non-SCA members £15 for the day of magic and £30 for the dinner/
