Forth Valley Magic Circle are proud to present – A Lecture by Harry Robson;

On Thursday 28th March,
At The Station Hotel,

7.30pm Start, Non members £10.

A laugh a minute with Harry Robson, Master Magician & raconteur.

Harry has lectured over 60 times over the past 10 years for over 30 societies in both UK and Europe.

The lecture consists of two halves. Both halves consist of a performance and explanation, with a short break. At the end of the evening Harry is happy to hold a workshop for half an hour with the members of the society so people can put in to practice some of Harry’s effects. Harry’s working commercial effects are for sale at the end of the evening.

This is going to be a great lecture!!!

The Scottish Conjurer’s Association present a lecture by mentalist and cold reader Paul Voodini on;

Wednesday 10th October,
The Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre,
8-10 Balcarres Avenue,

Glasgow,
G12 0QF, starting at 7.30pm. £10 Non members.

The lecture is fun and informative and very interactive (lots of volunteers), and demonstrates how magicians and mentalists can incorporate cold reading into their work to make it more powerful for the spectator. I also touch on the history of cold reading and it’s use by unscrupulous mediums and the like, which is always both funny and interesting.

Paisley Magic Circle are proud to announce a lecture by Award winning Spanish card magician Woody Aragon. The event will take place at;

St Ninian’s Church Hall,
81-83 Blackstoun Road,
Paisley,
PA3 1NR on Thursday 1st November, starting at 7.30pm. £10 Non members,

Woody’s lecture will start off with a small show which will be explained in full and includes some routines and some theory behind the structure of his routines, very bad English (thanks to Lennart Green’s videos!) and routines and moves – many of which are very easy to follow, to understand and to perform.
