Edinburgh Magic Circle

The Edinburgh Magic Circle wasformed in 1946. In its early years it performed a full evening show in a theatre every autumn, and took a coach load of members to the magic convention at Newcastle. Edinburgh Magic Circle continues to be a lively club with an Open Night in the spring and a high proportion of active performers.

Colin Dymond will be lecturing at Edinburgh Magic Circles’ new premises at;

This is the first time Colin has lectured in Scotland and should be lots of fun with great ideas for children’s entertainers and magicians alike. He will have goodies for sale

Edinburgh Magic Circle are pleased to announce the forthcoming lecture by master mindreader Colin McLeod at THE POLICE CLUB, 28 YORK PLACE, EDINBURGH, EH1 3EP.

Mentalism’s next superstar’ Ian Rowland,  ”One of the greatest thought readers of our time” Uri Geller

Colin is heading to Vegas to perform at Mindvention 2010 and has offered to give EMC a first taste of what to expect. He has just finished filming a dvd set with Peter Nardi’s Alakazam which will contain many of the effects from the lecture.

Doors open at 7.15 and the lecture will begin at 7.45pm.
Entrance Fee £10.

SAMS Convention 2010

All of us from Forth Valley Magic Circle had a great time at SAMS 2010 and would like to thank everyone who helped organise the event. Special thanks of course go to George and Janet. Also a big thank you to those who represented the club in the competitions, Peter Kinney and Archie Smith. Scottish Association of Magical Societies Convention 2010

This years convention will be held in the Tontine Hotel, Greenock on Friday 30th of April till the Sunday 2nd of May. Dealers will be Adrian Sullivan, David Forrest Full 52 Productions and Jimmy Craig. Confirmed lectures are David Forrest and John Archer. Gala show Brian Jeffrey’s Fly by Nite, David Lees, Clive Moore, John Archer and Guy Barrett.

Sams convention registration desk opens at 6pm on the friday and the convention starts at 7.30 with an opening of the convention with a buffet provided followed by the president’s show and the opening of the dealers.
