Summer nearly over and already we are looking forward to a new season of Magic! The SCA opens its year with a Lecture by well known Card and Coins Man, Craig Petty. Craig will be known to you for a number of marketed effects and a series of very commercial dvds.
We hope to see you on Wednesday, September 1st, 7.30pm, at the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre, 10 Balcarres Avenue, Kelvinside, Glasgow, G12 0QF. £10 entry fee to visitors.
Paul Gordon is bringing one of his popular, fun and informative “Card Capers” days to Glasgow in January 2011.
The idea of “Card Capers” is to have a no holds barred day where all egos are left at the door and hobbyist and professional alike can learn from one of the UK’s top card magicians. Here’s a chance to spend a whole day learning not only tricks, routines and moves but also about routining, patter and even the business side of magic.
Paul will be holding “Card Capers” at the Malletsheugh Inn, Ayr Rd, Newton Mearns, Glasgow on Sunday 16 January 2011. The day runs from 10am until 5pm (he asks that everyone is at the venue for 9:30am) and the cost is £30 which must be paid in advance. Only a maximum of 50 spaces will be available and they will be first come, first served.
If you would like more information or would like to book your place, please visit Paul’s “Card Capers” page on his website.
