Please note WEST LOTHIAN MAGIC CIRCLE is now holding their ’Sale of Magic’ on Thursday, 24th March 2011, at 7.30pm. Which is a change to the original date.

There will also be an opportunity for non-members to hire a stall, at a cost of £5, to sell their magic.
Anyone interested in doing so should get in touch with Bill Nimmo as soon as possible, as hires will be on a first come basis and will be limited.

West Lothian Magic Circle goes Forth

On Monday 17th January, Forth Valley Magic Circle are hosting an informal evening with colleagues and friends from West Lothian Magic Circle. This is a reverse invitation as West Lothian invited us through last year for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This is an informal night, but it would be appreciated if everyone could take part in the proceedings with a couple of tricks.

As usual we will be meeting at 7.30pm, at The Station Hotel, Larbert.

Walt Lees Lecture at West Lothian

A reminder that the West Lothian Magic Circle next meeting is on Thursday (24th) this week. It is, of course, a lecture by their honorary member, Walt Lees. Hopefully you will all manage along; and feel free to bring along like minded souls who will, unfortunately, have to pay £5.

The West Lothian Magic Circle President’s Cup Competition held after the A.G.M. in the Pigeon Club, East Calder, on the 22nd April 2010

President Greg said that it had been a very close competition and he was delighted to announce that Gary James had been declared the winner. After presentation of the Cup, Gary said that he was very honoured to have been declared the winner.

West Lothian Magic Circle Present A Lecture By Walt Lees

West Lothian Magic Circle is proud to present a lecture by our honorary member Walt Lees.

The lecture will take place in the East Calder & District Homing Society Social Club, Oakbank Road, East Calder, West Lothian, EH53 0BT on Thursday 24th June 2010,
at 7.30pm

The cost will be £5 for non-members and Walt will have Lecture Notes, books and DVDs for sale.

SAMS Convention 2010

All of us from Forth Valley Magic Circle had a great time at SAMS 2010 and would like to thank everyone who helped organise the event. Special thanks of course go to George and Janet. Also a big thank you to those who represented the club in the competitions, Peter Kinney and Archie Smith. Congratulations must escpecially go to William Williamson who managed to walk away with three prizes for Kilmarnock MC. Here are the results in full:
